Kisumu Water and Sewerage Company would like to inform its esteemed customers and stakeholders that from end of July 2016, the company will be sending bills to customers using SMS as opposed to hand delivery as has been the norm.
From the month of July, customers will receive both the paper and SMS bills for a pilot period of three months. Subsequently, only SMS bills will be sent.
The SMS billing is expected to eliminate challenges faced when using paper bills. This mode of distribution will be fast and convenient, thus increasing our efficiency in service delivery.
In this regard, the company requests for your cooperation and urges all customers who have not yet submitted their current phone numbers to do so to our customer care assistants before the end of the month.
