She previously worked as Head of Legal and Compliance in a State Corporation and a leading commercial bank with footprints in East Africa.
She currently serves in various organizations in diverse capacities among them; Executive Director of Brothers-Keeper Foundation whose main aim is to promote the rights and enhance the protection as well as providing safe spaces for the male gender of any age to express themselves and get access to justice and legal advice. Besides, she is an immediate past Board Member of the Public Procurement Administrative Review Board which is mandated to review, hear and determine tendering and asset disposal disputes.

Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from Kampala International University-Uganda, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from Kenya Medical Training Centre, Nairobi, Kenya and is a beneficiary of Pan African EMBA IESE, Lagos and Strathmore Business School. He has a strong background of devolved system Sector Laws and Policies, constitutional law, governance, human rights and democracy having been a governance and law reform consultant for various sector agencies for over fifteen (15) years.
He is the Secretary/CEO of the Kisumu Lakefront Development Corporation and also serves as the Chief Executive Officer Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB); a Lake Victoria Basin regional trade block comprising of fourteen (14) counties. He has also served as Director of Administration and Advisor on Political Affairs for the current Governor for Kisumu County. He has over twenty (20) years progressive experience in the field of Strategic Management, Law, Administration, public policy, social development, organizational development and innovative governance both at National and International levels.

Maryline Yanzar Agwa is an Environmental chemist, a holder of bachelors of science in Botany, Zoology and chemistry from Agra university. She holds a Master of science in Environmental chemistry from Maseno University and a Master of Arts in Project Planning & Management from the University of Nairobi. She is currently undertaking her PhD in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi. She has 8 Publications and the Author of the Book, Phosphorus Loading into Winam Gulf. In addition, she holds a diploma in water and environmental policy from IHE Delft Institute for water education (UNESCO) Netherlands and Diploma in Sustainable Urban Water and Waste management from Israel (MASHAV). She is an environmental lead expert with NEMA, MASHAV and acumen member.
She is the current County Executive committee member and the former chief officer for water, climate change and environment at the County Government of Kisumu. She is a former chief officer for water, environment and Natural resources, County Government of Homa Bay. During her term in the two devolved Government, she has managed to put up structures and systems for good governance and also developed several policies and legislations.
Previously, Maryline worked with Kisumu Water and Sanitation Company limited first as a chemist and later became the production manager were she gained experience in water production, wastewater treatment, water quality assessment and water distribution. In addition, she was one of the women leaders in the water sector reforms in Kenya. Worked with UNICEF as Rural water coordinator in the Lake Victoria basin region where she gained experience in community water management and water Governance.
As a pioneer of devolution she is passionate on matters related to sustainable development, water governance, Climate Change, Renewable energy, Research work and Committed to transformational leader to ensure the achievement of the Kenya vision 2030 and sustainable development Goals.
