FEMALE BIKERS AIM FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE

KIWASCO has gone a notch higher to engage the female employees to acquire motorcycle riding skills and eventually have their own motorbikes to enhance efficiency at the work place. The ladies have for a long time depended on their male counterparts to take them to their work places. These ladies stepped out of their comfort zones and have now completed their training at AA driving school.

During the flagging off of the latest motorcycles purchased by the company on 24th May 2021, the Managing Director, Thomas Odongo said, “the water sector for a long time has been a preserve of the men as most of the jobs are deemed to be very masculine. Having female riders in Kiwasco is a step in the right direction as we seek to empower more women within the company,”

The company has continued to purchase motorcycles every year, a move that is aimed at increasing customer experience and enhance efficiency as Kiwasco’s area of operations becomes more expansive by the day.
