We have distributed hundreds of hand washing containers and soap across the county and assigned a team to conduct follow up to ensure that the facilities are fully operational.
This program majorly targeted Boda Boda operator shades, entrances of markets, bus-stops, public institutions like hospitals, police stations, hotels and other public places. The exercise was mainly conducted within the first month of the outbreak but it is still continuing on a need-basis.
Besides, we have developed awareness creation publications for public use, emphasizing Covid-19 safety protocols and other related messages. This has been relayed through the use of our social media platforms and short-messaging service. We also printed communication materials like posters and fliers that we have made available for our customers and the general public.
